Surprised by the result? If so some of the sections below can help you learn the basics of money.

Planning is Fundamental

In 36 years of helping Canadians I am amazed at how little time they spend on planning their finances.

Unfortunately, we find either people fail to plan or purchase products without an overall strategy. Eitherway these are recipes for disappointment.

I ask people what their financial plan is when I initially meet them and they show me their portfolio. A portfolio of investments is not a plan.

No One Plans to Fail... People just Fail to Plan.

So the First Step to becoming financially successful is Planning This is our core capability.

In the following sections we will discuss the basics on a variety of topics.

The Basics

Too often clients try to build the walls and roof of their financial house without a firm foundation. These articles will help you build the right foundation.

Investing

You wouldn't set out on a trip without a map and a plan, why should investing be any different? Sadly too many people don't master first principles and often are hurt in the process. Learn the basics, you will sleep nights and be wealthier.

Retirement Planning

Canadians have one fundamental question when they are thinking of retirement

How much capital must I have by the time I retire so that I won't outlive my money?

There are two things to consider here:

  1. How much will be needed to finance the retirement I want?
  2. How long will it last?

We are going to try to help you answer these questions. Learn more....

The Magic of Life Insurance

Life insurance is fundamental. With the stroke of a pen and by paying just pennies on the dollar, Canadians of all means can instantly create an estate for their families. Learn more about insurance here

Living Benefits Insurance
Living benefits insurance is designed to pay you cash or an income or both while you are alive in the event of certain circumstances.
There are three main plans under this umbrella term and each will be discussed.
